Above the Ceiling of Logic
Why true Faith is a bypass of the intellect, and how to live in the state of "Ein Od Milvado.
The Ladder of Faith In the interior of the Torah, Faith is not a static feeling; it is a ladder of evolution.
Level 1: External Belief. This is the “Pshat” of faith. You believe because of your upbringing or a vague sense of a Higher Power. It’s fragile. When life gets hard, this faith trembles because it is still bound by human logic and fear.
Level 2: Faith Above Reason (Emunah L’ma’ala Min HaDa’at). This is where the real work begins. You encounter contradictions, pain, and silence—and you choose to lean on the Source specifically where the mind fails. You understand that human intellect is a finite tool trying to measure an infinite reality.
Level 3: The Consciousness of Oneness. This is the “Messianic” peak. You no longer “believe” in God; you live within the realization that there is literally nothing else. Every person, every missile, every heartbeat is just a different “garment” the Creator is wearing to move the world toward repair.
The Light of Certainty Kabbalah calls this “Or HaChasadim” (The Light of Mercies). It is a spiritual frequency that clothes raw wisdom and gives the soul a “Mamad” (internal safe room) of absolute stability. An individual at this level sees the lies, the suffering, and the corruption of the world with crystal clarity, but they are not drowning in it. They are anchored in the deep structure of the Divine plan.
The End of Separation The Zohar summarizes the goal of this journey: “The Holy One, the Torah, and Israel are One.” At the Final Correction (Gmar Tikkun), you don’t stop being a human. You still think, love, and create. But the “ego-wall” that made you feel like a separate, lonely entity is gone. You realize the life flowing through you is the Source. You stop being a spectator of the Divine and start being an expression of it.
Oriya’s Note:
Faith is not a security blanket for people who are afraid of the dark; it’s a spotlight for people who want to see the truth.
Most people use “belief” as a way to avoid reality. They close their eyes and hope for the best. That’s not Faith—that’s denial.
Real Emunah is walking with your eyes wide open, seeing the absolute mess of the world, and still knowing—down to your marrow—that the engine behind it is 100% Good.
It’s called “Above Reason” for a reason. If your “God” only makes sense when things are going well, then you aren’t worshipping God; you’re worshipping your own comfort.
The “Israel” frequency is about staying connected to the Source even when the “Pshat” (the surface of your life) looks like a disaster. It’s the stability that comes from realizing that you aren’t a puppet being tossed around by fate. You are a soul being refined by a Master Goldsmith.
Stop trying to “understand” God with your 3-pound brain. You can’t fit the ocean into a thimble. Instead, drop the separation. Stop being “religious” and start being present. When you realize there is “None Besides Him,” you don’t find answers to all your questions—you just realize the questions were asked by an ego that no longer runs the show.
