Everything You’re Missing
“Everything a person is missing is found within himself.”
Your soul is the source of knowledge, connection, and truth.
Any attempt to find someone to answer for you
provides only external voices,
but not your own inner knowing.
Fullness always appears on the inside,
not the outside.
The feeling of wholeness,
joy, serenity, love, and connection to the Creator is not dependent on external conditions—
not on money,
not on successes,
not on relationships with others,
and not on material things.
Everything you are searching for outside
is only an external reflection of what already exists within you.
Fullness appears when your soul is connected to its inner light,
to the divine point within it,
and feels itself whole,
full, and connected from the root.
This means that any search for an “external answer” or “completion from the outside”
is usually just a distraction.
Because the essential thing is the internal,
not the external.
What comes from the outside can enhance the feeling of fullness,
but it cannot create it.
Only from your innerness does true wholeness flow.
The experience,
the understanding, and the discovery must come through
inner contemplation,
self-work,
devekut (cleaving) to the divine light, and listening to the soul.
Another person can show you a path,
but they cannot replace your own inner connection.
Reflect:
What are you currently seeking on the outside, believing it will make you feel whole?
Can you recall a time you felt complete for no external reason? What did that feel like?
What is one small way today you can turn your attention inward to listen to your soul, instead of looking for an external answer?
Share what comes up.
