GOD IS NOT A RELIGIOUS FIGURE
Why the Creator does not need your rituals, your costume, or your club membership.
The Deficit Myth
The Creator does not “need” anything. The Creator does not require religious people—neither Ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) nor Secular. Creation was not designed to fill a lack in the Divine, but to reveal Good to the created beings.
Therefore, the concept of “God needs us to do this” is educational language for children. It is not a description of the Essence. A Perfect System has no needs.
The Costume
Religiosity is a Garment (Levush). A garment can be holy. And a garment can be empty. Like any vessel, the question is not what it looks like, but what fills it.
There are those who wear the “Ultra-Orthodox” uniform and possess immense depth. And there are those who wear it without any internal movement. And the reverse is also true.
The Goal
The purpose of Creation is the revelation of the Singularity (Yichud). Meaning: To clarify that there is nothing else but the One. This does not depend on a social style or a dress code. It depends on Internal Recognition.
A society can be more conservative or more open. That is not the metric for Redemption. The metric is the depth of awareness and the Refinement (Zikuch) of the Will.
The Future
Human development ultimately leads to the recognition of Unity through the Correction of the Will (Tikkun HaRatzon). The world will not reach correction through religious coercion. It will reach it through an internal understanding of the Law of Influence.
Meaning: The world will not “become Religious.” The world will “become Clarified.”
The Zohar (the 2nd-century Source Code of Kabbalah) speaks of the End of Days as a time when Knowledge (Da’at) will spread. “Knowledge” is not necessarily more religious externalism. It is more recognition of Unity within life itself.
The Tool vs. The Master
The Creator does not need “Religious People” as a category. But Creation does need people who are aware, corrected, and aimed at Truth. The question is not “Will the world become Orthodox?” The question is “Will the Human Will become refined?”
Sometimes, when a person wakes up spiritually, they start to see beyond the frameworks. This is not a cancellation of the framework. It is the understanding that the framework is a Means, not a Goal.
Kabbalah is not a mechanism for “Repenting” (becoming religious). The wisdom is designed for the one who wakes up to ask. It must be open to anyone willing to learn in truth. It is not “Do whatever I want.” It is the wisdom of correcting the Will. “A Torah that works for you, not a Torah that you are a slave to.” Everything depends on the Intention.

ORIYA’S NOTE
We confuse The Gym with The Workout.
Religion is a Gym. It has branding. It has a dress code. It has a membership fee. You can go to the gym, wear the branded t-shirt, hang out at the juice bar, judge the people who aren’t wearing the right shoes, and never lift a single weight. You are “Religious.” You are a member of the club. But your muscles are atrophying.
Faith is the Workout. It is the sweat. It is the heavy lifting of the Ego. You can do the workout in a synagogue, in a church, or in your garage. The muscle doesn’t care about the logo on your shirt. The muscle only responds to resistance.
I know people who pray three times a day and cheat on their taxes. I know atheists who live with more Adhesion (Devekut) to the truth than most rabbis.
The text says: “God doesn’t need religious people.” Of course not. If I build a house, I don’t need the hammer to worship me. I need the hammer to drive the nail. Religion is a tool. If the tool works—if it helps you break your Ego and connect to the Signal—use it. If you are just worshipping the hammer? That’s idolatry.
