How to Quiet the Noise in Your Head (The Art of Internal Surrender)
We all have a "Demanding System" inside us that screams for control, survival, and recognition. Here is how to turn down the volume—not by fighting it, but by aligning it.
“Can you tell us how to connect? How to quiet the demanding system?”
This is a question of Internal Arrangement. Between the Will, the Consciousness, and the Spiritual Root of the person.
THE RAW MATERIAL
The starting point common to all methods is: Man operates out of a Will to Receive. And he is managed, most of the time, by an Internal Demanding System that knows no satisfaction.
In the Zohar, this Will is described as the Force of Separation. Multiplicity of voices. Incessant movement. This is the nature of the Vessel (Kli) before its correction.
The Demanding System is the raw material of man. As long as it manages the person, It creates noise, tension, and a sense of separation.
HOW TO QUIET IT
Quieting comes by Raising the Will to its Root.
The connection begins with the clear knowledge: A person has no control over Reality. Only over the Intention of the Heart.
When a person ceases to struggle with the multitude of demands, And arranges his Intention to be aligned with the Supreme Will, Internal Rest (Menucha) occurs.
This is not passivity. It is Conscious Surrender to the Divine Order.
The moment a person stops demanding that reality fit his Ego, The internal system calms down on its own. Simply because it ceases to fight.
THE INTERNAL WAR
The internal noise stems from a constant struggle between:
The Animal Soul (Nefesh Behamit)
The Divine Soul (Nefesh Elokit)
The Animal Soul demands: Survival. Control. Recognition.
The Divine Soul asks for: Devotion (Dvekut). Truth. Simplicity.
The Quieting occurs when: A person stops identifying with the demands of the Animal Soul. He does not try to eliminate it... But gives it its place as a Tool only.
The very observation that “The noise is not Me, but a movement inside the Vessel” creates a Gap. And this Gap is the beginning of Connection.
FROM EMOTION TO INTENTION
True connection is not an emotional connection. It is a Connection of Intention.
When the Intention shifts from “Receiving for Myself” to “Influencing/Bestowing”— Even in the smallest measure— The entire system changes frequency.
The Demanding System calms down because it feeds on Comparison, Achievement, and Survival. When the Intention is directed toward Equivalence of Form (Hishtavut HaTzurah), The Ego has nothing left to hold onto.
BEING A VESSEL
The Silence is not a result of effort. It is a result of an Internal Change of Direction.
“To Connect” means: To agree to be a Vessel, not a Source. To agree that Life flows through me, and is not controlled by me.
The Quieting happens when a person returns to the Middle Point. The place where:
The Will operates but does not control.
The Thought serves but does not manage.
This is a state of Internal Unity. Where the multitude of voices gathers into One Root. And out of this One, deep rest is born. Rest that does not depend on circumstances, But on the internal agreement to be connected to the Higher Order.
