KARMA IS A MECHANISM. GOD IS A RELATIONSHIP.
Why the Universe isn't keeping a scorecard of your mistakes.
Question: “Does Karma exist for past regrets? Do we create our fate through our emotions, or do our choices create future results? I feel guilt about the past.”
The Verdict
According to the Wisdom of Kabbalah, there is no concept of “Karma” in the sense of an automatic, blind mechanism that punishes a person.
Reality is not a cold machine of Reward and Punishment.
It is a living, renewing Divine Leadership.
The Constant Renewal
The Creator constitutes the world in every breath.
There is no moment that exists solely by virtue of the past.
Therefore, the past is not a final decree.
It is Raw Material for clarification and correction.
Physics, Not Punishment
However, there is a Law of Cause and Effect.
This is not punishment; it is a result.
When a person operates from a certain consciousness, they create matching Vessels (Tools).
These Vessels birth a matching reality.
This is the Order of Creation.
Thought, Speech, and Action build a Vessel.
The Vessel invites Light according to its shape.
If a person acted out of fear, anger, or lack of awareness, the reality they meet will match the narrowness of that Vessel.
Not because the Creator is punishing them.
But because that is the law of Matching Form between Light and Vessel.
Guilt is a Trap
Guilt itself is not a correction.
Guilt is the consciousness getting stuck in the past and identifying with an old version of the Self.
True Teshuvah (Repentance/Return) is not sinking into pain.
It is Movement.
The moment a person changes their choice and their consciousness...
The Vessel changes.
And the Abundance drawn to it changes.
This is the power of Teshuvah: It stands above the law of Cause and Effect because it operates at the Root of Consciousness, from where results are born.
Emotion as Energy
Emotion is energy rising from the psyche.
If a person holds onto it and identifies with it $\rightarrow$ They fix that level and reproduce it in reality.
If a person observes it, learns from it, and chooses consciously $\rightarrow$ The emotion becomes a tool for growth.
The question is not “What did I feel in the past?”
But “Who do I choose to be Now?”
The Clean Slate
Therefore, there is no fate decreed upon a person just because they feel regret or guilt.
There are consequences to actions, yes.
But there is also the ability to rise to a higher level that sweetens the consequences and changes how they appear.
The Creator does not hold a list of debts.
He renews the human being every moment.
He gives you the option to create yourself anew.
The future is not a punishment for the past.
It is a revelation of the Level of Consciousness where you stand in the present.
When consciousness expands, reality expands.
When you move from Guilt to Responsibility, and from Fear to Trust, you build a new Vessel.

ORIYA’S NOTE
We are obsessed with “Karma” because we are obsessed with “Fairness.”
We want a universe that functions like a vending machine:
I put in a Good Deed $\rightarrow$ I get a Cookie.
I put in a Bad Deed $\rightarrow$ I get a Slap.
But Kabbalah says: God is not a Vending Machine.
He is not a Cosmic Accountant keeping a ledger of every time you yelled at your mom in 1998.
Guilt is actually a form of arrogance.
When you wallow in guilt, you are saying: “My mistake is so powerful that it is bigger than God’s ability to renew the world.”
Get over yourself. Your mistake isn’t that special.
The Past does not exist. It is a memory trace in your brain.
The Future does not exist. It is a projection.
The only thing that exists is the Vessel you are building right now.
If you are busy feeling guilty, you are building a Vessel of “I am a sinner.”
Guess what Light creates in a Vessel of “I am a sinner”? More suffering.
Stop looking back.
The Architect doesn’t cry about the crooked line he drew yesterday.
He erases it and draws a straight one today.
