Separation is the Collapse of an Internal Structure
Why "moving on" is bad advice. The Divine Soul tasted Unity, and the Animal Soul is screaming at the void.
“I can’t get over it. It hurts physically. Everyone tells me to ‘move on’ and ‘think positive,’ but I feel like I’m dying inside. Why is this specific separation destroying me?”
Separation hurts so much Because it is not merely the loss of a person. It is the Disintegration of an Internal Structure.
The pain stems from a deep spiritual conflict: The Divine Soul tasted Connection (Unity). The Animal Soul is left with the Yearning but without the Fulfillment.
To understand this, we must look at the anatomy of the soul:
When two people connect, they build a shared spiritual structure. When that breaks, the “Nefesh” (Animal Soul) feels the physical withdrawal, while the higher levels remember the light that was there.
Therefore, there is no point in “Overcoming,” “Moving On,” or “Thinking Positively.” These are attempts to plug a Vessel that needs to remain open for a while. If you try to fill the void with “positive thoughts” too quickly, you prevent the vessel from expanding to its new capacity.
The Work Right Now The work is not to find meaning immediately. But to Agree to Dwell in this place. To sit inside the collapse without trying to rebuild it in panic.
The Purpose of the Void Not every separation comes to replace a “person” with a “better person.” There are separations that come to Return You to Yourself. To a level one degree deeper.
The structure had to break so you could find the foundation that lies underneath the partnership: You. Connected directly to the Source, without an intermediary.
Reflect:
The Void: Don’t run from the pain. The pain is the sound of your vessel stretching.
The Advice: Ignore anyone who tells you to “get over it.” You don’t get over a spiritual event; you go through it.
The Return: This isn’t about him/her anymore. This is about you meeting the parts of yourself you abandoned while you were with them.
