STOP CHASING THE LIGHT
You cannot bring the light in. You can only stop blocking it.
The Misconception
There is no concept of filling ourselves with light. Because the light is not an object that enters a vessel... but a reality that is revealed when one removes what hides it.
The Divine Light exists always and everywhere. But the human vessel is opaque from the Will to Receive (Ratzon Lekabel)... from fear... from ego... and from imaginations. And therefore the work is not to pull light... but to clear space.
The Method
When a person settles his mind (Meyashev Da’ato)... Corrects a character trait... Gives up egoistic identification... Or chooses truth over comfort... He is not “receiving” light... but ceasing to hide it. And the light is revealed by itself.
The Refinement
It is not the person that gets filled. But the vessel that gets refined (Mit’aden). And as the vessel is purer... The light is present more... without effort and without external action.
The Retreat
In simple words... we do not put light in. But we stop holding ourselves in the center. And when the “I” retreats... The light that was there... Always... Goes out through us to the world.
