The End of "My Power"
Redemption begins the moment you realize you aren't the one driving the car.
The Source
The most significant gift is the one that comes from Hashem. Not from “my power and the might of my hand.”
When a person sees the revealed miracle in his life... It comes from an acceptance of His Kingship in everything.
The Requirement
We know nothing. We are asked to know this. To know that Hashem is the only One. This is the place from where the private and general Redemption (Geula) begins.
When a person succeeds in seeing the strong and hidden hand of Hashem in every single detail of his life... He enters a process of Redemption. Because he connects to the “Supreme Will” (Ratzon HaElyon) that guides all of creation.
The Recognition
To know that Hashem is the true Mover behind everything that happens is the first step to true understanding of Redemption. It does not stem from human power or personal efforts. But from the power of Hashem.
The Zohar emphasizes the importance of accepting the Kingship of Hashem. To know that everything is marginal relative to His sovereignty in the world.
The Redemption begins when a person understands this place. And turns the heart and the soul inward to accept the power of Hashem over all things.
