The Feed is the Enemy
Watching the news isn't "being responsible." It is feeding the beast.
The Conflict The
Torah of Messiah describes the heart of the generation’s problem: The struggle between the Human Soul and the Animal Soul (Nefesh Behamit). The Animal Soul feeds on distractions, on fears, on noise, and on a false sense of self-importance.
The Coronation
Every time a person shifts their energy center to the news, to threats, to false prophecies, and to speculations about the future... He is effectively crowning the External as King. He is giving it the power to act in reality.
This is not “Knowledge.” This is not “Responsibility.” This is idolatry (Avoda Zara). Because instead of responding to the Creator, there is a response to Fear, Ego, and Imagination.
The Shift
Redemption is not the result of knowing what will happen. But of changing who we are right now.
Not “What will Iran do?” And not “What will happen tomorrow?” But: “How much does the person agree to change?” To clean the intention. To stop feeding the noise and return the listening inward.
The Silence
Whoever publishes fears, forecasts, and personal ideas disguised as “concern for the public”... acts out of a desire to be significant, not out of Nullification (Bitul). And this is the opposite of Divinity. Because Divinity is Silence. Precision. And Response. Not drama and scare tactics.
The Screen
Blocking such content is not running away. It is a conscious choice not to feed the Animal Soul. It is keeping the inner vessel clean so that the person can truly change.
When a person refuses to listen and stops giving a platform to predictions... He destroys idolatry. And returns the center to the only relevant place: Repairing the character. Cleaning the intention. And a quiet response to the Supreme Will.

I feel like there is a little nuance to everything. We do not need to watch the news, but we need to know the truth. We don’t have a forecast for how everything will turn out, but we can see that the systems we continue to uphold everyday are crumbling and that if we do not change, if we do not stop holding them up and allow ourselves to be transformed by the journey to both - more sovereignty and more healthy community (which, both come from knowing who we truly are), then we will end up being crushed. So often we stay stuck out of fear, but when the fear of staying where we are becomes bigger than the fear of the unknown, it is when we really move forward.
