THE GEOMETRY OF THE DIVINE IMAGE
Transitioning from the defensive "Garment" to the absolute unity of the Simple Light.
The Anatomy of the Vessel
The phrase “Created in the Image of God” has no correlation to the physical body. It refers strictly to the soul’s capacity to function as a vessel for Light, Knowledge, and Love. As you progress in this internal work, the external world begins to fade in importance. You start to see the body, emotions, and thoughts as they truly are: “Garments” (Levushim) for the soul. The Zohar teaches that when we attach ourselves only to the garment, we lose the essence. However, when we learn to look through the garment, we find that every person—even those appearing “disconnected”—carries a complete Divine Soul. The difference lies not in the presence of the soul, but in its revelation.
The Reflection of Internal Friction
The external world, with its conflicts, jealousy, and despair, is a macro-reflection of the internal “shattering” we have forgotten to repair. When our internal “vessels” are blocked, we cannot see the Truth even if it stands directly before us. This is the secret behind the saying: “One who sees the Messiah and does not believe.” If your internal instruments are unrefined, the frequency of redemption cannot be registered. The goal of this life is not to loathe physical existence or to escape it through endless cycles of reincarnation (Gilgulim), but to elevate the physical world by connecting it to its root.
The Sovereignty of Personal Responsibility
The external reality of “blood and destruction”—manifested today in defibrillators, bunkers (Miguniyot), and bomb shelters (Mamadim)—is a physical translation of our internal lack. These are symptoms of a spiritual deficit, a sign that we have not yet learned to adhere to the Divine Light. No external shelter can extract us from our internal chains. True redemption begins with “The Awakening of the Individual” from the trance of external preoccupation.
Messianic consciousness presents the Torah in its simplest form: the removal of the layers that stand between the soul and the Creator. When you take absolute responsibility for your internal state, the friction with the “outside” evaporates. You stop reacting to the world and start enlivening it. When the meeting with the Source is complete, the “External World” as a separate, threatening entity ceases to exist. There is no more sin, no more speech, no more separation—there is only the Simple Light.
