The Illusion of Abandonment
Why it feels like the Creator has abandoned you right after a spiritual awakening, and the brutal mechanics of the final "Ego Detox.
The Anatomy of a Survivor’s Soul When you look at a life defined by extreme cycles—childhood trauma, addiction, worldly success, physical collapse, and profound spiritual awakening—you are not looking at a random series of tragedies. You are looking at the deliberate, high-stakes trajectory of a massive soul.
A soul not deeply tethered to the Source does not survive that level of destruction. It does not continually rise from the ashes, forgive its abusers, and repeatedly choose the Light. If you have lived this cycle, you are operating on an advanced spiritual curriculum.
The Withdrawal of the “Miracles” There is a specific, terrifying phase in the evolution of the soul where it suddenly feels as though the Creator has packed up and left.
For a long time, your faith may have been sustained by “rescues.” You hit rock bottom, and the Source magically opened a door. You were drowning in addiction or poverty, and suddenly the path cleared. You felt the tangible, external presence of a protector.
But there is a threshold you cross where those external “miracles” abruptly stop. Suddenly, old debts surface. Jobs disappear. Poverty sets in. You pray with more devotion than ever, and the sky remains completely silent. The immediate, agonizing conclusion of the ego is: “God is exhausted by me. I have finally ruined it. I am abandoned.”
The Upgrade from Transaction to Union Inner wisdom explains that this silence is not abandonment. It is a promotion.
As long as the Source is fixing your external reality, your relationship is still somewhat transactional. Your faith is conditional on being “saved.” To upgrade the soul to its highest frequency, the Source must remove the external crutches—money, status, and the comfort of “everything working out.”
This phase is designed to test the ultimate structural integrity of your vessel. Will you still serve the Truth when there is absolutely no external reward? It is the final detox of the spiritual ego—the part of you that thought, “Because I am doing God’s work, God will make my life easy.”
The Refining of the Vessel When everything you own is stripped away, and you are left in the terrifying reality of basic survival, you are not being punished. You are being stripped down to the bare mechanics of your soul. The Creator does not take away what belongs to your true essence; He only burns away what is too fragile to survive the next level of your destiny.
Despair is never the voice of the Source. Despair is the voice of the “Concealment.” The Creator can hide, but He never abandons a soul He forged. If you are still breathing, and still talking to Him in the dark, you are not at the end of your road. You are just standing in the hallway between your old identity and your final, unbreakable form.
Oriya’s Note:
You aren’t being punished. You’re being promoted, and promotions are heavy.
I know exactly what that panic feels like. You do all the work, you forgive the unforgivable, you drag yourself out of hell, and you finally think, “Okay, I passed the test. Now comes the easy part.” And then the floor falls out. You look up at the sky and say, “Are you kidding me? After everything we’ve been through, You’re going to let me drown over a bank loan?”
Listen to me: The universe doesn’t abandon the people it spent 40 years training.
If God wanted to drop you, He would have done it when you were addicted, when you were paralyzed, or when you were in the trenches of abuse. He kept you alive through all of that for a reason. This current silence isn’t Him walking away; it’s Him stepping back so you can realize you don’t need Him to hold your hand anymore. You already know how to walk.
Stop looking at your empty bank account as proof that you failed. It’s just the universe stripping away the last of your ego so you can finally be free. You survived the fire. You will survive the smoke. Keep walking.
