The Illusion of Distance
You are not far because you moved away. You are far because you believe you moved away.
“I feel so disconnected. I feel like I’ve fallen so low that I can’t be reached. Is there a way back from here?”
The discovery of a truth that is both simple and deep: A person is far, Not because he is truly far. But because he thinks he is far.
The root of all pain is despair. And the root of despair is forgetting the Divine Point within the human being.
There is no place void of the Name (Hashem). Even within the descents, The confusion, And the contradictions, A Hidden Light is found, seeking to be revealed.
The main work of a human being Is to seek the Source always. Even when he does not know what to ask or how. The very will, and the cry itself, break the concealment.
Faith is not closed knowledge. But walking with the Source within the doubt.
Finally... A person discovers that all distances are imaginary. That all falls are a preparation for ascent. Always, always, and in every place, The Creator is waiting for him.
