The Leadership of Light vs. The Leadership of Concealment
Does the Creator lead everything? Yes. But there is a difference between the Light leading us, and the Light allowing us to walk in the dark.
“If everything is Divine Providence, does that mean every choice we make is the will of the Creator? What about relationships or actions that seem to contradict spiritual law?”
There is nothing in the world without Divine Leadership. But there is a fundamental difference between the General Leadership of the Creator And the choices of Man within the Concealment.
The Creator leads the world even when the Light is hidden. And even when Man acts out of separation, confusion, or a will that is not aligned with the purpose of Creation. This is the secret of Contraction (Tzimtzum) and Concealment (Hester). The Light does not disappear. But it clothes itself in a way that allows for choice, error, and even deviation from the Supreme Order.
According to the Zohar, the union (Zivug) of Male and Female is not just a social or emotional matter. It is a Cosmic Structure. A connection of Giver and Receiver. Zeir Anpin and Nukva. Right and Left integrating into One. This is the order of the Light when it is revealed in its wholeness.
When the world is in a state of Exile, separation, and Shattering of Vessels, Connections that do not reflect this structure become possible. Not because the Creator “wants” separation. But because He allows Man to act within the Concealment, So that Free Will can exist and the work of Repair (Tikkun) can be possible.
Marriages between a man and a man, or a woman and a woman, in the language of the Secret (Sod), Are not an expression of the Leadership of Light in its wholeness. But of a world where the Light has receded, and Judgments (Dinim) prevail. A world where the Personal Will takes a more central place than the Supreme Order.
And nevertheless, even this reality is not outside of Providence. It exists within a Leadership of Divine Patience. Which waits for clarification. And not out of rejection or cancellation of the person themselves.
The human being is not rejected. But the act does not reflect the Purpose of Creation as described in the Secret of Union.
The Teaching of Mashiach, according to the Zohar, Does not begin with external coercion of order. But with the revelation of Inner Truth.
As the Light is revealed, the Order clarifies itself. And the Will returns to its Root.
Therefore, the contradictions are not a contradiction to Providence. But a sign of a state of Concealment, And a Redemption that is not yet complete.
The Light leads the Darkness too. But that does not mean the Darkness is the Goal.
