The Love of Our Lives
The Holy One, Blessed be He,
is the love of our lives.
To all who are searching outside,
there is a perfect love
inside.
So
deep
that it reaches the infinite.
And then...
there is no more searching for love.
There is only love.
Found.
Present.
Revealed.
A Queen.
Anointed.
Everything we descended to raise
is this love, from its enslavement to this world.
For love is, in its entirety,
the World to Come.
As it is said:
“Mi zot olah—Who is this that ascends?”
Who (Mi)?
Love?
Torah is Mi.
Meaning, the Torah in its entirety is love,
and it must ascend within us,
all the way to Mashiach.
The resurrection of the dead.
Eternal life.
Reflect:
Where are you still searching for love on the outside, as if it’s something you need to acquire?
Can you connect, even for a moment, with the perfect, infinite love that is already present inside you? What does it feel like?
What would it mean to “raise love from its enslavement to this world” in one area of your life today?
