THE MARKET PRICE OF TRUTH
Why you have to pay for it, and why everyone tries to sell it
The Code “Buy truth, and do not sell it.” (Proverbs 23:23)
The Purchase Truth is not information you receive from the outside. It is bought. But the currency is not money. You pay for it by:
Giving up illusions.
Letting go of stories.
Agreeing to see reality exactly as it is.
A person “buys” truth with Presence, with Internal Integrity, and with the agreement to wake up.
The Sale “And do not sell it...” Even after you have earned it, do not sell it for:
Comfort.
Belonging.
Fear of rejection.
Social profit.
Temporary quiet.
Do not exchange your internal knowing for an external narrative. Do not give up what you have truly seen just to remain Accepted, Safe, or Recognized.
The Definition Truth is the Deep Self. It is the Soul. It is the point of Unity within you.
To “buy truth” is agreeing to be who you actually are. To “not sell” is refusing to return to a life dictated by the outside after you have seen the truth inside.
“Truth has no competitors.”
Translated from the Hebrew Transmissions of Ruth Kedem
ORIYA’S NOTE
We treat Truth like a download. We think we can get it from a podcast, a book, or a weekend workshop. But the text says: “Buy Truth.”
In economics, a purchase requires an exchange. You have to give something up to get something of value. What is the price of Truth? The death of your fantasies.
You have to pay with your favorite delusions. You have to pay with the comfortable lie that “it’s all their fault.” You have to pay with your victimhood. That is a high price. Most people walk away from the register.
And then comes the warning: “Do not sell it.” Once you know the truth—about your marriage, your addiction, your job, your soul—the world will immediately offer to buy it back from you. The world will say: “Forget what you saw. Come back to sleep. We will give you safety. We will give you tenure. We will give you applause.”
Don’t take the deal. The currency they are paying with is counterfeit. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. If you try, you don’t go back to being asleep. You just go back to being a liar.
