The Matrix of the Sleepwalker
Why your opinions, fears, and choices aren't actually yours, and how to achieve true psychological sovereignty
The Illusion of Freedom Unless you have achieved true internal sovereignty, you are not living a free life. You are simply reacting to the forces operating you. Most human beings do not act from conscious choice; they are driven by a complex web of societal conditioning, inherited beliefs, collective fears, and subconscious survival instincts. You may feel free, but you are moving within a predetermined matrix that shapes your thoughts and actions.
The Internal Exile Inner wisdom defines this state not as a physical location, but as an Internal Exile. When you are in exile, you are alienated from your core. You are swept away by the currents of public opinion, cultural norms, and political ideologies. You might passionately defend a belief system, completely unaware that you are just serving a structure designed to control you.
This happens because the human system is split between two forces. The “Animal Soul” operates on survival, conformity, and dominance. It seeks the safety of the herd and the certainty of the ego. The “Divine Soul,” however, seeks absolute Truth. But for the Divine Soul to lead, you must execute a massive cognitive revolution.
Waking Up the “Walking Dead” When an individual begins a genuine internal search, they start to ruthlessly question the mechanisms running their life. They audit their beliefs, their fears, and their desires. This process is grueling because it requires you to abandon the comfort and validation of the crowd.
If people were actually awake, they would immediately stop doing most of the things they do. Without this awareness, people act as “walking bombs”—reacting blindly to external triggers, fueled by an ego desperate for control and belonging.
The True Definition of Redemption Redemption (Geula) is not a political event. It is a revolution in consciousness. The ultimate Messianic state of mind is one that is entirely unhooked from the external illusions. A truly awakened sovereign does not worship at the altar of politics, media, culture, or tribal religion. They do not wait in line to vote for their salvation, nor do they consume the toxic anxiety of the news cycle. To connect with the Creator, you must first detox from the matrix. True freedom is the realization that the outside world has absolutely no authority over your soul.
Oriya’s Note:
Let’s do a quick reality check on your “independent” thinking.
How many of your opinions, anxieties, and life goals were actually chosen by you, and how many were just downloaded into your brain by your parents, your culture, the algorithm, and the news cycle?
We think we are free because we get to choose which brand of cereal to buy or which political team to yell for on the internet. That isn’t freedom. That is just picking your favorite flavor of the matrix. True freedom is terrifying because it requires you to unplug from the machine. It means you stop caring about the political theater, you stop consuming the fear-mongering news, and you stop needing society to validate your existence.
Most people are sleepwalking through life, reacting to triggers like biological robots. If you want to actually wake up, you have to be willing to look at everything you believe and ask: “Is this actually True, or is this just what I was programmed to defend?”
