The Paradox of Honor
True honor is not taken; it is attracted. The moment you chase it, you lose it.
Any honor a person demands for themselves harms them. Because true honor is not something taken. But something drawn of its own accord.
The moment a person demands honor, They testify that they are trying to fill an internal lack with an external means. And the demand itself creates a separation between the person and their internal value.
This is the Order of Reality: “Whoever pursues Honor, Honor flees from him.”
Because honor belongs to a Surrounding Dimension (Makif). It cannot enter a vessel that tries to grab it by force.
When a person holds themselves as a “Something” (Yesh) that needs recognition, They constrict their vessel. And they harm the freedom, The quiet, And the connection to the Source from which they act.
In contrast, Whoever acts out of Truth, Mission, and Attachment (Devekut)— Does not need honor in order to exist. Therefore, honor comes to them of its own accord.
Honor that is demanded weakens and breaks from within. And honor that stems from internal truth Builds and expands the human being.
