THE PHYSICS OF HEARTBREAK
Separation is not a mood. It is a withdrawal symptom.
THE PHYSICS OF HEARTBREAK
Separation is not a mood. It is a withdrawal symptom.
The Vessel Remembers
Separation hurts because it is not just the loss of a person. When a deep bond is formed between two people. The desires become entwined until they pulse as a single unit.
The Light that used to flow vanishes all at once. The vessel remains empty. Seeking to be filled. That is why the body aches. That is why it feels like withdrawal. Because it is.
The Light has departed. But the vessel still remembers it.
The Animal Soul
When the Animal Soul loses the pleasure that sustained it. It rebels. This is its nature. It knows pleasure through touch. Scent. Body. Heat. It does not yet know how to be comforted by abstract ideas.
The longing is not just for the person. It is for the possibility of being in a living, felt, responsive body.
This does not contradict spirituality. Anyone who says otherwise has not understood the depth of the Torah. The Zohar itself is not afraid of passion. It is afraid of disconnection.
The Investigation
Your pain is the pain of a desire that was severed from its source. The real work is not suppression. It is clarification. Do not run from the pain. Ask it why it is here.
The pain is here to say: Something in you learned to love through the body. And now it is required to learn to love through the depth. This does not mean giving up the body. It means returning it to the root.
The Cleaning
The endless crying is a cleaning mechanism. The tears open the blockage and allow the Light to enter. That is why sometimes a prayer without tears does not work. But tears without words do.
The Fear of Non-Existence
The fear of being alone is not really a fear of loneliness. It is a fear of non-existence. When the connection was there. It served as living proof that you were seen. Wanted. Real.
Now the soul is required to learn a deeper knowing. That your existence does not depend on the gaze of another. A state of consciousness where the human ceases to need external light to know they exist.
The Wilderness
But the road to that state passes through the desert. In the desert there are no hugs. No touch. No immediate pleasure. There is only a gaze at the Creator. Day by day. Breath. By breath.
The Broken Vessel
Brokenness is the true vessel. The Creator is not looking for the one who overcame. He is looking for the one who told the truth.
And if the truth right now is longing for a body, for touch, for pleasure. That too is raw material for holiness. Do not push it aside. Place it before Him and say: This is how I am. Without masks.
The pain will settle. Not because you figure it out. But because you will discover that the pleasure did not disappear. It just became quiet. Stable. Independent of anyone outside.
But until then. It is allowed to cry. It is allowed to hurt. It is allowed to want. This is a descent for the sake of ascent.
