The Serpent in the Sanctuary: Why "Emotional Faith" is a Trap
"And This is the Torah" is not a book; it is the raw material of your life. Why organized religion often sells you the "Primordial Snake" disguised as holiness.
All of our life is called: “And This is the Torah” (V’Zot HaTorah).
Any external engagement with “The Torah”—as a text, a profession, a set of rules, or a religious identity—will not lead any person to his Place.
The Serpent in Disguise People sell “Faith” through an emotional game of feelings, thoughts, and human templates. This is nothing more than the Primordial Serpent (Nachash Kadmoni).
“And This is the Torah” The Torah is not a book, a subject in school, or a system of external laws. It is a Description of the Entire Reality of Life Itself as a learning process of the Soul.
Everything a person meets:
Body, Relationships, Work, Illness.
Success, Fear, Desire, Failure. This is the material upon which the Torah is written.
Therefore, whoever deals with Torah externally—as a ceremony or identity—remains Outside the Torah, even if he sits in a Yeshiva all day. Because a person’s “Place” is not an external study hall. It is a Level of Internal Attainment.
The Danger of Emotional Faith Faith that is not Attainment (Hassaga) is dangerous ground.
Baal HaSulam writes explicitly that faith unaccompanied by Knowledge (Da’at) can become a tool of Control, Imagination, and the Primordial Serpent.
The Serpent uses “Spiritual/Religious words” to activate:
Emotion,
Fear,
Guilt,
Or Hope... Without correcting the Will. (Exactly like politics; it is no coincidence they go hand in hand).
When “Faith” is sold to a person through emotional manipulation—stories, promises of heaven, threats of hell, or sentimental comfort—This is not Light. This is Psychological Force (Consciousness Engineering) dressing itself in a Holy Garment. This is exactly the Serpent: Knowledge without Attainment. Light without a Vessel. Speech without Internal Truth.
Torah Study vs. Having Children The Sages said: “Torah study corresponds to them all” and “Torah study makes a greater impression on the world than begetting sons.”
They were not talking about technical study. And not about biological children.
They meant that True Study (Self-Study) creates a Drawing of Light into reality.
It changes consciousness.
It builds vessels.
It stands up a new Internal Generation.
Biological Children = Continuation of the Body. True Torah Study = Birth of Soul Levels.
The Definition of the “Perverted One” Therefore, “A perverted one (Me’uvat) is he who cancels his study and retires from the Torah.”
Not someone who closes the book.
But someone who Retires from Life as a Learning Process. Someone who refuses to observe, to attain, to fix, and to turn his entire existence into a field of Divine Knowledge.
Messianic Consciousness In Messianic Consciousness, this reaches a peak: There is no longer a split between “Life” and “Torah.”
Either ALL your life is Torah.
Or you have no Torah at all.
The Torah is not something you do. It is what you allow Reality to do to you.
Whoever replaces this with emotional faith, external identity, or a spiritual show might feel something (completely imaginary), but they will never reach their Place. Because the Place of Man is Attainment, Knowledge, and the Revelation of Light within Life itself.
There alone the Torah lives. And there alone, Man becomes Human.

The Book: Do you read the Torah, or do you let the Torah read you?
The Emotion: Be careful of religious “highs.” If the rabbi makes you cry but doesn’t make you change your ego, you just bought a ticket to a show, not a correction.
The Life: Look at your biggest problem right now. That is your current Torah portion. Study it.
