THE WORLD IS NOT HAPPENING TO YOU
Why your enemies are actually your unhealed parts.
The world does not “do” things to us. It reflects our internal blindness.
The Mirror Mechanism
Every person, every situation, every event that meets us is a Mirror. Not a simple, cosmetic mirror. But a mirror of our unconscious desires, our fears, our impulses, and our internal blockages.
The Garment
The external world is merely a “Garment” for an internal essence. If I see a mistake or injustice in others, I am actually meeting a part of myself that is not connected to Truth or Light. If someone is angry at me, or if I am hurt—this is not randomness. It is a call to recognize the parts of myself that are still hidden from my own awareness.
The Optical Illusion
Everything we experience in the world, if we look deeply, is not “The World.” It is the reflection of what we have not yet seen in ourselves.
The Automatic Correction
This is the secret of internal work: Do not try to change the world. See yourself through what the world reflects.
As much as we reveal, learn, and settle what is inside us, the external world changes automatically. Because the external is always—without exception—showing the internal.

ORIYA’S NOTE
We treat our lives like a movie theater. We sit in the dark, look at the screen, and scream at the characters. “Why is he so rude?” “Why is this happening?”
We forget that we are the projector. If there is a smudge on the lens of the projector, there will be a smudge on the screen. You can run up to the screen with a rag and try to scrub the smudge off. You can scream at the screen. You can fire the actors. But the smudge will remain.
The world is the Screen. Your consciousness is the Projector. If you see anger everywhere, the anger is on the lens. If you see rejection everywhere, the rejection is on the lens. Stop scrubbing the screen. Clean the lens.
