To Be Rabbi Shimon (It’s Not About the Robe)
You don't need a cave or a white beard to access the energy of Rashbi. You need an internal connection so strong that you stop arguing with reality.
To be Rabbi Shimon does not mean learning Gemara all day or wearing a special robe. To be Rabbi Shimon means to be a person whose Inside is connected to the Light, the Truth, and the Will of the Creator in the simplest, most direct way possible.
The Stance It is a person willing to Stand facing everything happening in the world:
Without running away.
Without compromising on who they are.
Without hiding their Light.
The Perspective Rabbi Shimon lives with the approach that Everything that happens—suffering, joy, uncertainty—is part of the Grand Plan. He is not subject to fears or despair. He knows everything comes from the Creator.
Self-Mastery Therefore, he rules over himself. He does not let emotions like Anger, Sadness, Jealousy, or Fear dictate what he does. He makes decisions from the knowledge that everything is connected and that he has an active part in the existence of the world.
The Responsibility To be Rabbi Shimon is to hold the belief that no one is alone and that everything we do affects the Collective. It is choosing every day, again and again, to act from the Inner Light—even if the world around you is not ready for it.
The Leadership It is a leadership of Full Responsibility:
Over yourself.
Over the world inside you.
And over the world around you.
Without panicking. And without arguing with what is happening.
The Summary To be Rabbi Shimon is:
Not to give up on your Light.
Not to fear the Darkness.
And not to be insulted by the World.
But to lead yourself from Faith, Stability, and Inner Silence—a silence deep enough that even the Shechinah (Divine Presence) can finally rest within it.
