To Be Who God Wants You to Be
It is not about obedience to a rulebook. It is about becoming an entity where the Soul and the Body are absolute one.
To Be Who God Wants You to Be
It is not about obedience to a rulebook. It is about becoming an entity where the Soul and the Body are absolute one.
“What does God actually want from me? Does He want me to be religious? Does He want me to be successful? Who am I supposed to be?”
To be, in the end, who the Holy One, Blessed be He, wants you to be, Means nothing less than transforming into an entity where the Soul and the Physical Person are One. And every thought, emotion, and deed stems from the Divine Root within you.
The Soul of Man Is a spark of Infinite Light sent to reveal its essence within this world. All of a person’s life— The successes, the failures, the pain, the boredom, the exhaustion— Are only a vessel to return this spark to the place where it truly belongs.
“To be who God wants” Is not a state achieved by discipline or knowledge alone. But a process of Self-Discovery.
Every time a person stops identifying with the Ego, with narrow desires, with impulses that distance him from the Truth— He brings himself closer to what he truly is: Light that has no ordinary human form. But a revelation of the Divine Will in the world.
We are not speaking here of ideas or words. But of the ability of your Internal Vessel— The Body, the Psyche (Nefesh), the Will— To become a stage for Infinite Light. And through this, the entire world receives Repair (Tikkun).
In this sense, to be who God wants is to exit from all self-preservation. From all fear, from all desire for control. And to let the Soul lead.
So that life is no longer struggle or suffering, But a full revelation of your Divine Essence through physical reality. And everything that looks like “failures” or “injustices” is only material for preparation. Whoever reaches this level— Everything that was painful or lacking in the previous consciousness becomes a vessel that illuminates the Light.
Let us bring this to the daily plane:
Suppose you are facing a situation where someone at work or in life acts in a hurtful way—injustice, dishonesty, or subtle violence. The natural Ego reaction is anger, a desire for revenge, fear, or a sense of victimhood. In most of the world, this is what happens: The internal pressure rules the person.
To be who God wants, The test is What you do with this sensation. It is not about denial of the pain, nor passivity that allows the injustice to continue. It is about the ability to Guard Yourself Internally.
To recognize the emotion, to understand the material, but not to let it dictate your actions out of anger or fear. Instead, you act out of Internal Truth. Clarifying facts, marking boundaries, acting in a way that takes responsibility for yourself and others without identifying with the trouble. And the deed is done not to “win,” But to maintain Light, Truth, and Grace (Chesed).
So too in the internal world: The feeling of loneliness, pain, or the will for self-realization— Instead of taking over you and causing despair— Become a vessel that connects you to the depth of your Soul. To the place where the Mind (Da’at), the Will, and the Emotion align with the Divine Light.
In practice, being who God wants is revealed In small moments of Precise Choice. To behave with integrity when it is easy to lie. To give connection when it is easy not to want to. To extend a hand when it is easy to let go. To listen when it is easy to close up.
These steps, which happen every day, turn life into a Crown. Where the person himself is the vessel in which Divine Light acts in the world. Even if no one else sees.
This is not a miraculous state that happens suddenly. It is a continuous process of correct choice within reality. Through which a person becomes Walking Divinity.
