We Plant, The Creator Grows
We plant.
The Creator makes it grow.
There are two foundational concepts:
The Light (the divine abundance)
and the Vessel (the will/capacity of a person to receive and absorb the light).
The light always exists—it is the source of life.
What is sometimes missing is a ready vessel that is able to receive and hold the light.
The person “plants”:
They build a vessel through the work of the heart, intention, acts of kindness, learning, and rectifying character traits.
The Creator “makes it grow”:
He fills the vessel with abundance when the vessel has been prepared and is in the correct alignment of intention.
The Mechanism: How Sowing Invites Divine Growth
Human action is not trivial. It changes the inner structure of the will (it reduces klipot/shells, it increases the power of bestowal).
Intention before Action: Am I doing this for myself or for a higher purpose?
Action: The act itself creates an “incision” in reality. It opens a gateway within the vessel.
Receiving the Abundance: The moment the vessel is open and aligned, the light can “descend” and have an effect. The spiritual/physical results are the fruit of the divine growth.
The Ramchal and the Baal HaTanya emphasize:
It is not the actions alone, but the intention and the rectification of the intention that allow the light to descend.
Why is the growth not always immediate?
Spiritual Measure: The abundance descends according to a spiritual level, according to the attribute of judgment and the attribute of mercy. These rules are not always clear to us.
Clearing the Husks: Sometimes, it is necessary to break down resistances (klipot) for the light to enter. This is a process of time, struggle, and learning.
A Collective Purpose: In the era of redemption, abundance is closer. Therefore, the “sowing” of individuals is crucial. Every personal act of sowing helps to break through the collective barrier. In other words, your personal action is important even if the result unfolds gradually. It is part of the historical construction of the redemption.
We must turn this teaching into a simple and deep daily practice.
Make the effort,
without getting caught up in when there will be results.
The endeavor is in the action;
the results are in the hands of the Creator.
Consistency in Action.
Noticing the Signs in Reality: Repetitions, recurring difficulties, “coincidences”—these are letters in the divine language that are directing you toward further rectification.
Patience and Faith: The growth happens on the Creator’s timeline. Faith and trust are part of the vessel that draws the abundance more quickly.
You are a partner in the process.
Your work is to sow in an honest and pure way.
You must cultivate the vessel (intention, character traits, actions).
The result,
the blossom and the fruit,
are a gift from the root.
This is a partnership.
You act,
and the Creator brings the completion.
Reflect:
Where in your life are you “planting” right now—working on your vessel through intention, learning, or acts of kindness?
Are you attached to when and how the “growth” will happen, or can you trust that the results are in the hands of the Creator?
What “signs” in your reality (recurring challenges, synchronicities) might be the divine language guiding you to further refine your vessel?
Let’s explore this together.
