Why Your Soul Was Given a Burden That Feels Too Heavy
You see your daughter struggling with the same emotional eating and you ask: "Will I have to repeat this in the next life?" Ruth Kedem explains what actually rises with us to the World of Truth.
“Can it be understood why souls like mine receive a burden too heavy for the vessel to contain? I see my 12-year-old daughter also eating for comfort. And what rises with us to the World of Truth? If everything comes from past life memories (Reshimo), will I have to deal with this emotional overload again in the next incarnation? When will I have joy that doesn’t depend on anything?”
1. The “Too Heavy” Burden Souls like yours do not receive a “burden too heavy.” There are souls whose correction is not through success, visible joy, or simple emotional stability. Their path is “Carrying the Load of Lack.” Why? To clarify the Root of Will itself.
You are not a soul meant to “just get by.” You are a soul meant to discover what happens when the Heart meets a void that nothing in the world can fill. The training of your vessel was not built to contain Calm. It was built to contain Truth.
2. The Daughter Your daughter is not “copying” a problem from you. She is touching the same Soul Root from a different angle. Eating for comfort is an expression of a Psyche seeking an Anchor—something to hold it from the inside.
In the Torah of Messiah, this is called a “Soul of Malchut” (Kingship). A soul that feels lack, emptiness, and a need for holding. The correction here is not to stop the emotion. It is to ensure the emotion does not become an Identity.
For both you and her, the work is not “Defeating the Emotion.” It is stopping the belief that the emotion says Who You Are.
3. What Rises to the Next World? You asked what ascends with us. Not the Pain. Not the symptom. Not the eating. Not the tears. Only the Clarification (Birur) rises.
Every time you carried an emotion and didn’t run away completely.
Every time you didn’t turn pain into identity.
Every time you remained faithful despite the overload. That is what rises.
The Reshimo (Spiritual DNA) that remains is not of the suffering, but of the Awakening within the suffering. Therefore, there is no truth in the fear that “In the next life, I will suffer the same thing.” What returns is only what was not clarified. What was clarified is sealed.
4. When Will True Joy Come? You asked: “When will I have a strong psyche and joy independent of anything?” Answer: Not when the emotions are “solved.” But when you stop asking them to disappear in order to be happy.
Joy (Simcha) is not an emotion. Joy is Internal Stability. It is the knowledge that: “I am connected even when it is hard.” “I am whole even when it hurts.”
A Strong Psyche is not a psyche that feels nothing. It is a psyche that Does not get Confused by itself.
Summary You are not here to be “Light.” You are here to discover how a Soul truly lives even when it is “Heavy.” This is a correction that is already happening. Even if it feels slow. Even if it passes through the next generation. There is no mistake here.
