Yashar-El: The Human Antenna
Why the term "Israel" is a technical description of a spiritual orientation, not just a passport
The Semantic Root In the interior of the Torah, the word “Israel” is decoded as a combination of two words: Yashar (Straight) and El (The Divine). It describes a specific state of consciousness—the human drive that is aimed directly at the Source, seeking the absolute spiritual truth behind the physical mask.
The Integrated System The rest of humanity is not an “afterthought.” Every nation and every culture is a vital component of the global machinery of creation. Their role is to drive human development, culture, and ethics.
However, in the mechanics of the Tikkun (Correction), “Israel” acts as the internal system—the conduit. Think of it like a biological body: the world represents the various organs and limbs that perform essential tasks, while “Israel” represents the nervous system that carries the signal from the brain to the rest of the body.
Ultimately, the correction of the world is a total integration. When the “antenna” is tuned correctly, the entire “body” of humanity begins to receive the signal of Divine Unity.
Oriya’s Note:
We need to stop using spiritual labels to feel superior and start using them to understand our job.
When people hear the word “Israel,” they immediately think of politics, ethnicity, or “The Chosen People.” It becomes a source of ego for some and a source of resentment for others.
But if you look at the “Source Code,” it’s a job description.
Being “Yashar-El” isn’t a privilege; it’s a responsibility. It means you are the one who has to stay awake when everyone else is sleeping. It means you are the one who has to see through the illusion of the “Pshat” (the surface) and connect to the “Sod” (the Secret).
If you call yourself Israel but you’re living for your own ego, your own comfort, and your own external status, you’re just wearing the uniform without playing the game. You’re a broken antenna.
The rest of the world is waiting for us to stop fighting over the “label” and start doing the “work.” They need the signal. They need someone to show them that there is an absolute Truth behind the chaos. If we aren’t “Straight to the Divine,” we are just another group of people making noise in the dark. Stop worrying about your “identity” and start checking your alignment.
