The Connection
The connection of souls to different Righteous Masters (Tzadikim) is not random. And it is not a matter of personal taste. It is a deep soul root.
The Zohar (The Book of Splendor) teaches that every soul is pulled toward its source. And every great Master is a revelation of a specific frequency of Light in the General Tree of Souls.
The Broken Heart
There are souls whose root is in the depth of the heart. In the brokenness. In the yearning. In the scream to the Infinite.
And therefore, they stick to Rabbi Nachman of Breslov (The Master of Prayer). Because he is the repair (Tikun) for the fallen souls. The lost ones. The ones searching for life through the truth of pain and joy mixed together.
The Mechanic
There are souls drawn to Baal HaSulam (Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag, the architect of modern Kabbalah). Because their root is in the clarification of the Light and the Vessel. In the work against the Will and the Ego. In understanding the laws of Creation and Redemption as a precise process. Not just an emotion. But a mechanism.
The Unifier
There are souls drawn to Rav Kook (The Master of Unity and Integration). Because their root is in Unity. In seeing the General (Klal). In the connection of the Holy and the Profane. Body and Soul. The Nation and Humanity.
The Secret
And there are souls that stick to the Righteous One of the Generation. Or to Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai (The author of The Zohar). Because they belong to the root of the Inner Torah. To the Secret (Sod). To the Hidden Light. To the revelation of the Face of the Divine.
The Universal
There are souls capable of connecting to everyone. Because of their root. A soul like this is not looking for a single identity. It is looking for the Truth itself. And it recognizes in every Master the exact part of the Light that he reveals.
The Source
Therefore, the connection to a Master is not worship. And it is not “social belonging.” It is the internal recognition of the Soul finding the place from which it nurses life.
As the soul expands and clarifies itself... It stops depending on one figure alone. And it begins to see that all the Righteous are just different faces... Of one Light. And all the connections lead to the same Source.
